Nikki Hoskins

At the beginning of 2018, I had never heard of the Candlelighters. That all changed in August of that year when my youngest son, Ethan, was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 3. As my family journeyed down the road of childhood cancer, I very quickly grew to appreciate the support provided by Candlelighters NL. During the darkest of those initial days, I knew that I somehow wanted to pay that support forward. I subsequently joined Candlelighters NL as a Director in 2019. I love this organization and what it stands for. I am grateful that I now get to be a part of it and give back to the other families across the province who face a similar journey.
